| What the client wanted | To totally transform their recently purchased 70’s style transitional ranch home into something more aesthetically pleasing with all of today’s modern amenities. In the process they also wanted to significantly enlarge the house, making it roomy enough for a family of five. |
| What we delivered |
After meeting with the client several times to discuss their needs and wants, as well as their budget, we were retained to design their dream house. Using the clients lifestyle along with their architectural preferences, we created a cape cod style home complete with a 2 car garage and reconfigured 1st level floor plan. The amazing thing to the client and curious observers, is that in the process we were able to nearly double the size of the home to approximately 4300 sq. ft. while retaining the charm typically associated with the cape cod style. With the exterior transformation decision made the family was ready to put their personal stamp on the interior of the home. Cooking and entertaining was an important element to the family, who was moving back into the neighborhood and anxious to reconnect with old friends. The key elements of the kitchen include a 5 person seated island, fireplace, and a 48” Five Star duel fuel range. The family is also quite tech savvy and was anxious to have Cat-5 wiring throughout along with surround sound and a host of other gadgets coveted in today’s high-tech world. |
